Bic Resource Pack 1.18 / 1.17

The Bic resource pack for Minecraft is intended to be a simple update, providing better looking visuals to the game without all the complexity that is normally associated with such add-ons. Simplicity is key and that’s exactly what the Bic resource pack is aiming to be about. Not every player needs or if comfortable with a myriad of options, they just want the game to look better upon installation. Due to its simplicity the pack itself isn’t considered high-end in terms of its visuals. There are other packs that can be downloaded which arguably do a better job. This is because they have more options allowing players to tailor their experience, although these players are not the Bic resource pack’s target audience. The target audiences are those players who just want simple texture and graphical updates without needing to worry about compatibility issues or complex choices. Fortunately this is a mission that the Bic resource pack passes with flying colors.

Colors being the optimum word here, the palettes look clear and free of the usual clutter associated with Minecraft textures. The pack focuses on allowing the games visuals to neatly flow while the game is being played. Minecraft’s visuals are not known for flowing well and this update really helps that and it’s fair to say that it greatly adds to the feeling of immersion. Something Minecraft has always excelled at. From a compatibility point of view the pack is considered 100% completed by its developers, meaning there are no missing parts/textures and it will be able to run on every version. Its low resolution of 16x also helps the graphical changes flow. This means that the game will always run smoothly with the Bic resource pack installed without performance ever being an issue. Despite the simplicity of the resource pack it does exactly what it needs to and feels incredibly natural to play.
